DVD's are generally around 4 to 6 gigs and blurays around 30 gigs. I have hundreds of full res (no compression) MKV files from ripping my DVD and BluRay collection using MakeMKV. But I'm hoping to glean some pearls of wisdom off of your own trial and error sagas.
